1.5-2 days-complete course
Need 9th edition TNCC book 30 days in advance of TNCC course.
Must complete pre-course modules-approximately 3 hours
Must pass Trauma Nursing Process-70%-2 attempts.
Must pass timed, online, open book written test-80%-2 attempts.
The 1.5-2 day course is recommended for the new ED nurse and/or the nurse who does not have experience in caring for the trauma patient.

1 day-some class room activity with TNP practice
Need 9th edition TNCC book 30 days in advance of the TNCC course.
Must complete pre-course modules-approximately 3 hours.
Must pass Trauma Nursing Process-70%-2 attempts.
Must pass timed, online, open book written test-80%-2 attempts.
Must have current TNCC certification.
The one-day renewal course is for the experienced RN who has had TNCC several times in the past and just needs a quick refresher before testing.

30-45 minutes, no classroom activities, strictly TNP checkoff.
Need 9th edition TNCC book 30 days in advance of the TNCC course.
Pre-course modules-approximately 3 hours
Must pass Trauma Nursing Process-70%-2 attempts.
Must pass timed, on-line, open book written test-80%-2 attempts.
This challenge course is designed for the RN who has had the TNCC course several times and is prepared to test without any classroom training or activities. There is a 20% fail rate.
