Basic Life Support (BLS)
The American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) course is designed to provide healthcare professionals with the skills and knowledge necessary to effectively respond to cardiovascular emergencies. This course covers essential aspects of adult, child, and infant cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR), including the use of automated external defibrillators (AEDs), and the recognition and response to choking emergencies. Participants will also learn techniques for performing high-quality chest compressions, delivering effective ventilations, and working as a team during resuscitation efforts.

The AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) course is primarily intended for:
Healthcare professionals: This includes doctors, nurses, paramedics, emergency medical technicians (EMTs), and other medical personnel who need to perform CPR and other cardiovascular emergency procedures as part of their job.
Medical and nursing students: Individuals currently in training for a healthcare profession who need to learn BLS as part of their curriculum.
First responders: Firefighters, police officers, and other emergency response professionals who may be the first to arrive at the scene of a cardiac arrest.
